Uzbekistan runs one of Central Asia's most defined crypto regimes: Presidential Decree No. UP-121 of April 2022 made the National Agency of Perspective Projects the single regulator, and NAPP licenses crypto exchanges, crypto stores, depositories and mining pools. Residents may legally trade only through licensed domestic providers, and using crypto as a domestic means of payment is prohibited. We are completing a full guide to the NAPP license types, their fees and their local-presence requirements.
