Bybit Card review

Last reviewed 2026-08-25

Bybit Card is not one product but a set of separate regional programs, each with its own fee schedule, and the rewards structure recently changed for European cardholders.

Across most regions (Australia, Argentina, Brazil, the AIFC in Kazakhstan, Asia-Pacific, and Mexico), cashback runs on a six-tier ladder from Base (2 percent, no VIP required) up to Infinite (10 percent, requiring Supreme VIP status or 25,000 USD of monthly card spend), with each tier capping monthly point redemption. As of August 4, 2026, Bybit's EU-issued card program changed course for its default population: ordinary EU cardholders without a qualifying VIP tier now earn a flat 1 percent on eligible purchases with no monthly cap, while the same VIP-tiered 2 to 10 percent ladder still applies to cardholders who qualify through VIP status or spend.

Fees vary meaningfully by region. In the EEA and Switzerland, the foreign exchange fee is 0.5 percent above Mastercard's rate and the crypto-to-fiat conversion fee is 0.9 percent above Bybit's own spot rate, with ATM withdrawals free up to 100 EUR per month before a 2 percent fee applies. Outside Europe the numbers shift sharply: Argentina's FX fee runs as high as 7 percent (plus a temporary 5 percent FX padding hold that is later refunded), Brazil's is 1.5 percent plus a 1 percent padding hold, and Australia's is 1 percent. Physical card issuance costs roughly 5 EUR/USD in most regions (about 29.99 USD in Australia), while virtual cards are free everywhere.

Bybit's own country availability page lists the United Kingdom as served, alongside the thirty EEA states, the United Arab Emirates and Turkey (virtual card only). The same page rules out the United States, Canada, China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, India and the Philippines, and places Switzerland outside the EEA programme.

Where you can get the Bybit Card

Bybit runs separate regional programmes rather than one card, and its own country page is the only list that reconciles them: thirty EEA states plus the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, and Turkey on a virtual card only. The same page states that Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, India and the Philippines are not currently available, and that Switzerland falls outside the EEA programme.

Pros and cons

What works

  • No annual, monthly, or inactivity fee across every regional program
  • Cashback can reach 10% at the top VIP tier, higher than most competitors in this batch
  • Free virtual card issuance everywhere, with a roughly 5 EUR/USD physical card fee
  • EEA cardholders without VIP status now earn an uncapped flat 1% instead of a capped tiered rate

What to watch

  • Not one unified product: fees and terms differ sharply by region, and Argentina's FX fee runs as high as 7% plus a temporary padding hold
  • Turkey gets a virtual card only, with no physical card available
  • Reaching the top 8-10% cashback tiers requires Supreme VIP exchange status or very large monthly card spend ($12,500-$25,000)
  • Not available in the US, Canada, China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore or Australia

Frequently asked questions

Is Bybit Card available in the UK or the US?

The United Kingdom yes, the United States no. Bybit's own country availability page lists the UK as served under FCA conditions, and rules out the United States entirely, along with Canada, China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and Australia.

How much cashback does Bybit Card give without VIP status?

Since August 4, 2026, ordinary EU cardholders without a qualifying VIP tier or minimum spend earn a flat 1% with no monthly cap; cardholders in other regions default to the Base tier's 2%, capped at roughly $5 per month.

Does Bybit Card charge foreign exchange fees?

Yes, and the rate depends heavily on region: 0.5% above Mastercard's rate in the EEA and Switzerland, but as high as 7% in Argentina (plus a temporary refundable padding hold) and 1.5% in Brazil.

How do I reach the top Bybit Card cashback tier?

The top Infinite tier pays 10% cashback but requires either Supreme VIP exchange status or at least $25,000 of monthly card spend, with rewards capped at roughly $600 per month even at that tier.
