What PromptPay is

It lets you move baht between Thai bank accounts using a mobile phone number, a citizen ID number or a plain account number, from any Thai bank's app, internet banking, ATM or branch. It is the everyday way Thai residents pay each other and fund accounts with Thai platforms, and one mobile number or citizen ID can be linked to only one account.
