3 of the 5 exchanges we recommend in Turkey pay out in TRY: BtcTurk, Bitexen and Paribu. The rails are Havale/EFT, FAST instant transfer, EFT bank transfer, FAST and EFT. The order below is the same ranking the buying guide uses; an exchange that appears there and not here publishes no TRY payout rail we could verify.
Where to sell and how the money comes out
| Exchange | Withdraw to | Fee | Speed | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| BtcTurk#2 in the buying guide | Havale/EFT | Not recorded | Same day inside business hours, or the first business day if requested after 16.45 on a weekday, at a weekend or on a public holiday; payouts to Akbank, Turkiye Is Bankasi, VakifBank, Yapi Kredi and Ziraat Bankasi land the same day 7/24 | Minimum 10 TL, to a Turkish lira account opened in your own name at a bank in Turkey. |
| FAST instant transfer | Not recorded | Requests can be made 7 days a week, 24 hours | Only to an account at a bank in the FAST system, and within the FAST limits. | |
| Bitexen#3 in the buying guide | EFT bank transfer | 3 TRY withdrawal fee (Cekim Ucreti in the limits table) | Sent by EFT within bank working hours | Only to a bank account in the customer's own name. Minimum 50 TRY and maximum 1,000,000 TRY per withdrawal, inside a 2,000,000 TRY per 24 hours and 10,000,000 TRY per 30 days limit for an approved account. Bitexen lists this rail for TRY payouts rather than for Turkey by name. |
| Paribu#4 in the buying guide | FAST | Free of charge from Paribu | Instant, within a few minutes, 24/7 | FAST has a per-transaction ceiling, given as 300,000 TRY on 2026-08-29; a larger withdrawal is processed as EFT on the next business day. Minimum withdrawal 10 TRY. Paribu lists this rail for TRY payouts rather than for Turkey by name. |
| EFT | Free of charge from Paribu | 1 to 2 business days | Processed only on business days within bank hours; an EFT withdrawal created outside them completes on the next business day. A withdrawal above the FAST per transaction ceiling is processed as EFT instead. Minimum withdrawal 10 TRY. Paribu lists this rail for TRY payouts rather than for Turkey by name. |
"Not recorded" means the exchange's page we read carries no figure for that cell; the fee on the sale itself is separate and is on each review.
The payout rails in Turkey
Havale/EFT
Paid out by BtcTurk, Bitexen, Paribu.
Havale and EFT are the two names Turkish banks use for a domestic transfer: havale moves money between accounts at the same bank, and EFT moves it to an account at a different bank through the Electronic Fund Transfer system run by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye (TCMB). Since January 2021 most interbank retail transfers instead go over FAST, the central bank's instant payment system, offered inside the same transfer screen in your banking app. Together they are the standard way to send lira to a Turkish exchange.
The rail itself: Havale inside one bank is instant, FAST moves money between banks in seconds around the clock, and classic EFT runs only on weekdays between 08:30 and 17:30.
FAST instant transfer
Paid out by BtcTurk, Paribu.
FAST, from Fonlarin Anlik ve Surekli Transferi (Instant and Continuous Transfer of Funds), is Turkey's instant payment rail for retail lira transfers. The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye designed it, owns it and operates it as a system separate from the older EFT, and it opened to all customers on 8 January 2021 after a pilot that began on 18 December 2020. Banks and licensed payment and electronic money institutions connect to it, so you send from your normal banking app to an IBAN and the recipient has the money at once.
The rail itself: The central bank says end to end retail transfers finish within seconds, and unlike the older EFT system FAST runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Is selling bitcoin legal in Turkey?
Buying, holding, and trading bitcoin are legal in Turkey, but using crypto to pay for goods and services has been prohibited since the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey's regulation took effect on April 30, 2021. A 2024 amendment to the Capital Markets Law brought exchanges under Capital Markets Board licensing as crypto asset service providers, with establishment and operating rules published in March 2025 and a minimum capital requirement of 150 million lira; licensing remains in a transition phase, and the board's published list of operating platforms is a declaration made during that changeover rather than a register of approved firms. Separately, an anti-money-laundering communique in force since June 28, 2025 imposes a 48-hour hold before crypto withdrawals, 72 hours on a first withdrawal, mandatory transfer descriptions of at least 20 characters, and stablecoin transfer caps of 3,000 dollars a day and 50,000 a month.
