We have one dated figure for MicroCloud Hologram so far, shown in the table below, and the table says where it came from. A chart needs at least two dated points, and we would rather show nothing than draw a trend through a single figure. This fills in as the company publishes, or as we backfill its earlier announcements.

About MicroCloud Hologram

MicroCloud Hologram develops holographic technology out of Shenzhen: LiDAR solutions and sensor chip design, holographic imaging and digital twin services. Its 2025 revenue was about $56.5 million, up 39 percent.

Its presence on bitcoin treasury lists needs a caveat that the company's own language supports. In February 2025 it announced plans to buy up to $200 million of derivatives on bitcoin and digital currency related securities, and every update since has used that same phrasing while reporting cumulative investment income rather than a coin count. It has never published a bitcoin holding, an average cost, a custodian or a purchase date.

The figure shown above is not a company disclosure. It appears to be derived by third parties from a reported cost basis, and it has not moved since March 2025, which is itself a sign of a static estimate rather than a tracked position. We show it for comparability and say plainly that it is unverified.

In April 2026 the company announced a separate $400 million programme in quantum computing research aimed at making the Bitcoin protocol resistant to quantum attack, funded from cash reserves it put above $390 million.

Frequently asked questions

Does MicroCloud Hologram actually own bitcoin?

It has never said so. Its announcements consistently describe buying derivatives on bitcoin and crypto related securities, which is exposure to the price rather than ownership of coins. No filing or release we can find states a bitcoin holding, so the figure here should be treated as an unverified third party estimate.
