About Phoenix Group PLC

Phoenix Group mines at scale out of the United Arab Emirates and ranks among the ten largest bitcoin miners globally. Its treasury was formalised in 2025, making it the first company on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange to adopt one, and it was announced at over $150 million across two assets: 514 bitcoin and more than 630,000 SOL.

The mining economics behind it are unusually good. The group mined 336 coins in the second quarter of 2025, of which 214 were self mined, at a 31 percent self mining gross margin with energy costs down 14 percent, and 689 coins across the first half. Self mining revenue rose from $13 million in the first half of 2023 to $41.7 million two years later.

Holding Solana alongside bitcoin is the part that separates it from most miners here, who either sell everything they produce or keep it all in bitcoin. Phoenix does neither.
