About Empery Digital

Empery Digital was Volcon, an electric powersports manufacturer, until a $500 million private placement in 2025 turned it into a treasury company and took holdings to 4,018.36 coins at an average cost of $117,552.

The unwind has been fast. At 30 June 2026 it held 2,914 coins, but only 1,375 of those were unrestricted: 1,539 were pledged to a lender as collateral against a credit facility. Between 1 July and 6 August it sold 1,635 coins for $102.2 million, repaid $20 million of borrowings, and the lender released 585 coins from collateral, leaving 1,279.

Buying at $117,552 with borrowed money and selling below that is the mechanism this whole sector was warned about, and Empery is the clearest live example of it on this list. Read the restricted share of the balance rather than the headline: it determines how much of the position the company can actually choose what to do with.
