Holdings over time
Cumulative bitcoin held after each disclosed event. The line steps rather than slopes because treasury positions change on purchase dates, not continuously.
Only a few disclosures are on file so far. The line joins the points we can source, and grows as more are published.
We do not yet have enough dated market cap points for Cango to chart its valuation history. Rather than interpolate, we leave it out until the figures are filled in.

About Cango
Cango was a Chinese car trading platform that bought its way into mining at scale, acquiring rigs from Bitmain and reaching an operational hashrate in the tens of exahashes. By September 2025 its treasury was above 5,800 coins.
Then it reversed. In February 2026 it sold 4,451 coins for $305 million, and in March a further 2,000 to retire bitcoin backed loans, completing a liquidation of about $442 million and securing new capital for a move into AI infrastructure. Holdings were 1,057.46 coins at 30 April 2026.
What remains is a company that says it prioritises mining economics over scale: average cash cost per coin down 19.3 percent to $68,215.83 against the fourth quarter of 2025, with a fleet being modernised rather than expanded. The treasury is now a by product of that, not the strategy it briefly was.
