What the rails themselves cost
The scheme or the bank sets these, not ZebPay. The 3 rails ZebPay offers in the most countries we rank it in.
- IMPS
- The scheme publishes no consumer price, so you pay whatever your own bank charges for an outward IMPS transfer, normally a small flat amount by value slab plus tax rather than a percentage.
- NEFT
- Banks may not charge savings account customers for NEFT initiated online, and the RBI caps other outward charges on a sliding scale topping out at 25 rupees plus GST above 200,000 rupees; inward transfers carry no charge.
- UPI
- UPI carries zero transaction fees for end users, on both person to person and merchant payments.
