Frequently asked questions
Which exchanges accept P2P trades in dram in Armenia?
Of the 3 exchanges we recommend in Armenia, Binance accepts P2P trades in dram for funding purchases.
Is buying bitcoin with P2P trades in dram legal in Armenia?
Bitcoin is legal in Armenia and now formally regulated. The Law on Crypto-Assets, adopted in 2025 and in force since July 2025, made Armenia the first South Caucasus country with a standalone crypto framework: service providers need a Central Bank of Armenia license, and firms already operating have until January 31, 2027 to obtain one. Companion rules push crypto transactions onto non-cash channels, and operating without a license can carry penalties up to criminal liability.
