About Vanadi Coffee

Vanadi Coffee runs a small chain of cafes in Alicante. In 2025 its shareholders approved a bitcoin treasury strategy authorising up to one billion euro of purchases, a figure orders of magnitude beyond anything the operating business could generate, and the vote made it Spain's most prominent corporate holder.

The reality is more modest. An official filing on 29 June 2025 reported an additional 20 coins taking the total to 54, held in custody with Bit2Me, a Spanish exchange. The position has grown since but remains a small fraction of the authorisation.

The gap between mandate and execution is the honest way to read companies like this. A shareholder authorisation is permission to raise and spend, not money in hand, and the coin count is the only part of the announcement that is a fact.
