Cumulative bitcoin held after each disclosed event. The line steps rather than slopes because treasury positions change on purchase dates, not continuously.

We have one dated figure for SBC Medical Group Holdings so far, shown in the table below, and the table says where it came from. A chart needs at least two dated points, and we would rather show nothing than draw a trend through a single figure. This fills in as the company publishes, or as we backfill its earlier announcements.

About SBC Medical Group Holdings

SBC Medical Group provides management support services to medical institutions, principally cosmetic clinics in Japan, and is headquartered in both Irvine, California and Tokyo. In February 2025 it announced a plan to buy up to 1 billion yen, about $6.7 million, of bitcoin between February and May of that year, and announced a purchase alongside it.

What happened next is in the annual report. The company deferred further purchases in May 2025 to fund a share repurchase instead, and its Form 10-K for 2025 states that it purchased five bitcoin during the year, sold all of them, and held no cryptocurrency at all as of 31 December 2025.

We publish the filed position, which is zero, and date it to that balance sheet. The 66 coin figure that circulates appears to be the announced 1 billion yen plan converted at the February 2025 price and then never revisited, which is a recurring failure mode in treasury trackers: an intention recorded as a holding.

Frequently asked questions

Does SBC Medical Group own any bitcoin?

Not according to its own accounts. The Form 10-K covering 2025 says all cryptocurrency was disposed of as of 31 December 2025 and that only five coins were bought during the year. No later filing we can find restores a position, so any figure above zero should be treated as unsourced until the company states otherwise.
