What ACH transfer is
ACH is the batch clearing network that moves US dollar payments between accounts at US banks and credit unions. Payments clear under the Nacha operating rules through one of two ACH operators, the Federal Reserve's FedACH service and The Clearing House's Electronic Payments Network, which handles roughly half of US commercial ACH volume.
