2 of the 4 exchanges we recommend in the Caribbean Netherlands pay out in USD: Kraken and CEX.IO. The rails are SWIFT transfer, Credit or debit card, PayPal and ACH transfer. The order below is the same ranking the buying guide uses; an exchange that appears there and not here publishes no USD payout rail we could verify.
Where to sell and how the money comes out
| Exchange | Withdraw to | Fee | Speed | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kraken#3 in the buying guide | SWIFT transfer | 14 USD per withdrawal, 100 USD minimum | 1 to 5 business days | Listed as worldwide, through Bank Frick; fees may vary with the country of residence on the account. Kraken lists this rail for USD payouts rather than for Caribbean Netherlands by name. |
| CEX.IO#4 in the buying guide | Credit or debit card | 0.49% to 4.99% plus a service charge that varies by provider and country | Not recorded | Daily withdrawal USD 20.00 to USD 50,000.00 on Visa and USD 20.00 to USD 2,500.00 on Mastercard; both rows carry footnote 1, which caps new customers at USD 1,000 a day and USD 3,000 a month for the first 3 months after identity verification. CEX.IO lists this rail for USD payouts rather than for Caribbean Netherlands by name. |
| PayPal | 3.99% plus USD 5 per withdrawal | Not recorded | Daily withdrawal USD 20.00 to USD 10,000.00, and at least Identity verification is required. CEX.IO lists this rail for USD payouts rather than for Caribbean Netherlands by name. | |
| ACH transfer | USD 5 per withdrawal | Not recorded | Minimum withdrawal USD 20; new customers are capped at USD 1,000 a day and USD 3,000 a month for the first 3 months after identity verification. CEX.IO lists this rail for USD payouts rather than for Caribbean Netherlands by name. |
"Not recorded" means the exchange's page we read carries no figure for that cell; the fee on the sale itself is separate and is on each review.
The payout rails in the Caribbean Netherlands
SWIFT transfer
Paid out by Kraken.
A wire transfer is a bank to bank push payment sent over a high value settlement system, Fedwire in the United States and its equivalents elsewhere, routed through correspondent banks when it crosses a border. There is no chargeback: once the sending bank releases it the payment is effectively final, which is why exchanges accept wires for large deposits. A cross border wire can pass through one or more intermediary banks, each able to deduct its own charge before the money arrives.
The rail itself: A domestic wire clears the same business day, with Fedwire open from 9pm eastern the previous calendar day until 7pm eastern and closed on weekends and Federal Reserve holidays, while a cross border wire can take several business days.
Credit or debit card
Paid out by CEX.IO.
Credit and debit card payments run over the international card networks, mainly Visa and Mastercard, alongside American Express and domestic schemes such as Cartes Bancaires in France or RuPay in India. Your issuing bank authorises each payment in real time, so the funds are committed the moment the transaction is approved. Visa alone says it connects businesses, banks and governments in more than 200 countries and territories worldwide, which is why this is the most widely available way to fund an exchange account. It is also the rail most likely to be repriced or blocked by your own bank.
The rail itself: Authorisation is real time, so a card deposit normally lands within seconds and rarely takes more than a few minutes.

PayPal
Paid out by CEX.IO.
PayPal is a digital wallet and payment service operated by PayPal Holdings, Inc. You link a bank account, a debit card or a credit card, or hold a balance in the account, then pay merchants and send money to other PayPal users without handing over your card details each time. It works in most countries and is accepted at a large share of online checkouts, which is where an exchange that supports it will meet you. The fee and limit figures here are PayPal's published United States consumer schedule; other countries have their own.
The rail itself: A PayPal payment posts to the recipient's account straight away, while moving money back out to your own bank is either the free standard transfer or a faster Instant Transfer that costs extra.
ACH transfer
Paid out by CEX.IO.
ACH is the batch clearing network that moves US dollar payments between accounts at US banks and credit unions. Payments clear under the Nacha operating rules through one of two ACH operators, the Federal Reserve's FedACH service and The Clearing House's Electronic Payments Network, which handles roughly half of US commercial ACH volume. The same rail carries payroll direct deposit, bill payments and the bank transfers used to fund and withdraw from an exchange, for accounts held in the United States and its territories, and it pushes or pulls funds by routing and account number rather than by card.
The rail itself: Standard entries normally settle the next banking day, while Same Day ACH has three windows each banking day settling at 1:00 pm, 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm Eastern.

No law in the Caribbean Netherlands bans bitcoin. In June 2026 the AFM and DNB opened a consultation on updated BES rules, including anti-money-laundering provisions.
