3 of the 8 exchanges we recommend in Brazil pay out in BRL: Foxbit, NovaDAX and Kraken. The rails are Bank transfer in reais and Pix. The order below is the same ranking the buying guide uses; an exchange that appears there and not here publishes no BRL payout rail we could verify.
Where to sell and how the money comes out
| Exchange | Withdraw to | Fee | Speed | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Foxbit#3 in the buying guide | Bank transfer in reais | R$ 0,00 on the fee table (updated 12/09/2026) | 10 minutes to 24 business hours on the fee table | Minimum withdrawal R$ 10,00; a simplified registration carries a monthly Saque limit of R$ 5.000. Foxbit lists this rail for BRL payouts rather than for Brazil by name. |
| NovaDAX#5 in the buying guide | Pix | Not recorded | Credited within 24 hours at the latest | Minimum withdrawal 10.00 BRL; the destination account must be a bank account in the same name (CPF or CNPJ) as the NovaDAX account, and third-party accounts are refused. NovaDAX lists this rail for BRL payouts rather than for Brazil by name. |
| Kraken#6 in the buying guide | Pix | 0.50% of the withdrawal, R$50 minimum | near instant |
"Not recorded" means the exchange's page we read carries no figure for that cell; the fee on the sale itself is separate and is on each review.
The payout rails in Brazil
Bank transfer in reais
Paid out by Foxbit.
A local bank transfer moves money between two accounts inside a single country's own payment system, with no correspondent bank and no currency conversion. The scheme is national and different everywhere: SEPA credit transfers and SEPA Instant in the euro area, FedNow and ACH in the United States, Pix in Brazil. The BIS counts fast payment systems live in more than 100 jurisdictions, and the FedNow Service, operated by the Federal Reserve since July 2023, runs a 24 hour business day every day including weekends and holidays. For someone funding an exchange in their own currency this is normally the cheapest option.
The rail itself: Instant rails settle in seconds, and the ECB requires euro instant credit transfers to reach the payee within ten seconds, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, while older batch transfers still take one or two business days.
Pix
Paid out by NovaDAX, Kraken.
Pix is Brazil's instant payment scheme, created and operated by the Banco Central do Brasil, which settles every transfer through its own SPI infrastructure. It works from any Brazilian bank or payment account, addressed by a Pix key (phone number, email, tax number or random key) or a QR code instead of account details. Participation is mandatory for the larger institutions, so effectively every Brazilian account has it, and it is the standard way to fund a reais balance.
The rail itself: The Pix Regulation defines it as real time, with funds made available to the recipient immediately, and the service runs 24 hours a day every day of the year.
