We have one dated figure for Orion Digital so far, shown in the table below, and the table says where it came from. A chart needs at least two dated points, and we would rather show nothing than draw a trend through a single figure. This fills in as the company publishes, or as we backfill its earlier announcements.

About Orion Digital

Orion Digital was Mogo, a Canadian digital finance company offering lending, payments and investing products. In 2020 it became one of the first Nasdaq listed companies to add bitcoin to its corporate treasury, well before the 2025 cohort that dominates this table.

That timing is the whole point of the entry. Adding bitcoin in 2020 meant doing it without a playbook, without index inclusion arguments and without a peer group to point at, and the companies that did are a much smaller set than the current list suggests.

The name change to Orion Digital came later, alongside a broader repositioning toward digital assets. The holding has stayed modest throughout, which distinguishes it from the companies that converted their balance sheets outright.
